United States-based Stonepeak has raised USD3.3 billion for its Stonepeak Asia Infrastructure Fund, surpassing its initial target of USD3 billion. The firm’s maiden infrastructure fund for the Asia-Pacific region saw demand from both new investors and existing investors from other Stonepeak funds.
The fund aims to build a diversified portfolio of infrastructure assets primarily in communications, energy, transport, and logistics throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
To date, the fund has made six investments across each of its target sectors, contributing to the increasing momentum in infrastructure and energy activity across the Asia-Pacific region in recent years.
