Norway-based Stena Power & LNG Solutions (Stena) has secured the front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for Delta Offshore Energy’s Bac Lieu LNG-to-power project in Vietnam. The company will extend its jetty-less floating terminal (JFT) and self-installing regasification platform (SRP). These solutions will help power the 3200MW power plant at Bac Lieu in the Mekong Delta.
The JFT and SRP will be deployed approximately 40 km offshore in the Mekong Delta, and Stena’s FEED work will include extensive model inspection to determine the optimum performance levels.
