Listed bus giant SBS Transit and ST Kinetics have signed an MoU to collaborate and strengthen maintenance and engineering capabilities for rail operations in Singapore. The partners will use automation and robotics solutions to improve operational productivity and efficiency. The MoU covers data analytics to further improve the resilience of the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) infrastructure. ST Kinetics will refurbish electronics components in SBS Transit’s trains on the North East Line as well as the light rail vehicles on the Sengkang-Punggol lines.
