Sunray Power Incorporated (SPI) plans to develop a 100 MW solar power project in Tarlac. SPI is 75 per cent owned by the Menlo Renewable Energy Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of MRC Allied (formerly known as Makilala Rubber Corporation). Further, a solar energy service contract for the development of the power project within the Clark Green City in the Municipality of Bamban, Tarlac was signed between SPI and the Department of Energy.
