Southern Cable Sdn Bhd has secured an RM83.2 million contract to supply cables and conductors for Sarawak Energy’s distribution network in Malaysia. The contract is valid for a period of 18 months starting November 2022 until April 30, 2024.
Southern Cable has previously supplied power cables for some key projects in Malaysia including the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line 1 and 2 project, as well as for the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) project in Southern Johor.
