LS-VINA, a subsidiary of South Korea-based LS Eco Energy Limited has supplied around 2,000 km of overhead power lines to Vietnam Electricity (EVN). These power lines will strengthen the transmission networks connecting the northern and central regions of Vietnam.

Vietnam plans to increase its power generation capacity from the current 100 GW to 500 GW by 2050. To support this growth, the country has allocated over VND20 trillion for investment in the energy sector by 2030, with a projected demand for cables reaching around VND2 trillion. Additionally, Vietnam is planning to implement a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) submarine cable project to connect its northern and southern regions.
