Sonoro Energy Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary Zamatra Bakau Straits Limited, along with its Indonesian partner PT Menara Global Energi, has executed the Selat Panjang PSC with Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The Selat Panjang PSC area is situated in Riau province in central Sumatra, spanning an area of 923 square km. As part of the execution of the PSC, Sonoro Energy holds a 25 per cent stake in the PSC with an option to acquire an additional 24 per cent after the completion of project milestones. Besides, the company will also serve as the operator of the project.
