Solarvest Holdings Bhd (Solarvest) has secured a contract from NEFIN Group, an Asia Pacific carbon neutrality solutions provider and financier, to install 7.98 MWp of rooftop solar power systems In Malaysia. The company will provide engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) services for the project and the solar systems will be installed at 12 facilities operated by Lotus’s Malaysia.
The power systems are expected to reach commercial operation by the end of July 2022. In March 2022, NEFIN Group has closed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Lotus’s Malaysia for the rooftop sites, and was to fully invest in each installation.
