Malaysia-based Solarvest Holdings Bhd (Solarvest), a photovoltaic (PV) plants developer, has secured a RM87.5 million contract from the Energy ES consortium for a large-scale solar project in Kulim, Kedah. The consortium includes SaveLite Engineering Sdn Bhd, Moderntent Development Sdn Bhd and Frasers Construction (M) Sdn Bhd. Under the terms of the contract, Solarvest will undertake the main engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) works for the 20.76 MW plant.
The award is Solarvest’s second consecutive under the LSS4 scheme and 11th under the national large scale solar (LSS) programme. The company now has a total LSS4 order book for EPCC works of RM130.4 million.
