Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) has partnered with SunEdison to launch a solar power system at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The 19 MW direct current system comprises ground-mounted, parking canopy, and rooftop systems to maximise electricity savings and return on investment, while minimising the use of space. The solar power installation is expected to generate an annual saving of about RM 2.1 million on energy costs.
