Solar Philippines Incorporation is on track to construct more than 1,000 MW of solar projects in 2021 in the provinces of Batangas, Cavite, Nueva Ecija and Tarlac. These projects will nearly double the country’s total installed solar capacity as of 2020. Solar Philippines is expanding its solar farm in Concepcion, Tarlac, to 200 MW from 150 MW, making it the largest completed solar project in the Philippines. By 2022, Solar Philippines expects these projects to become the largest single portfolio of solar projects in Southeast Asia.
