SK Group has signed multiple memoranda of understanding with Vietnamese partners to support the development of artificial intelligence infrastructure and ecosystem capabilities in Vietnam. The agreements, signed during the Korea–Vietnam Business Forum, include collaborations with the Nghe An provincial government and the National Innovation Center (NIC).
A key focus of the partnership is the development of an AI data center (AIDC) and supporting energy infrastructure in Nghe An province. SK Innovation will assess power supply solutions linked to the Quynh Lap LNG project, while SK Telecom will lead data center development, operations and demand assessment. The initiative integrates AI infrastructure with energy generation to support large-scale digital workloads.
Through its agreement with NIC, SK Group will also contribute to policy development, investment promotion and broader AI ecosystem growth, combining expertise in semiconductors, data centers, energy and AI applications. The approach reflects SK’s AI full-stack strategy, which aims to integrate infrastructure, platforms and services into a unified ecosystem.
