South Korea-based SK ecoplant, a unit of SK Group, has secured a 30 per cent stake in Cenviro, a waste management service provider in Malaysia. Financial details regarding the deal have not yet been disclosed.
SK ecoplant will provide advanced waste solutions in the country including collection, transport, treatment and disposal of waste, with plans to expand into Singapore and Indonesia in the future.
Cenviro operates Malaysia’s first integrated waste management centre and specialises in solid waste and E-waste management.
