New Energy Nexus Indonesia has selected six start-ups as the second batch for the incubation programme and the first batch for the acceleration programme in 2020. These selected companies will enable the start-up ecosystem to grow in the renewable energy sector they are working in. Two of the start-ups have been incorporated in the incubation programme, with focus on internet of things (IoT) and digitalisation, and energy access, while four start-ups with focus on energy efficiency, clean energy, and business model innovation have been selected for the acceleration programme. The start-ups will also receive coaching along with $4 million seed funding to help get their products and services to the market.
