Singtel has partnered with Mistral AI to accelerate enterprise AI adoption and strengthen Singapore’s position as a global AI hub. The collaboration is anchored through Singtel’s sovereign AI cloud platform RE:AI and aligns with the country’s National AI Strategy 2.0.

The partnership combines Singtel’s secure, sovereign cloud infrastructure with Mistral AI’s open-source models and engineering capabilities to develop industry-specific AI solutions across sectors such as finance, healthcare, government and defence. These solutions will be deployed on AI-ready data centres across Singapore and the wider region, supporting high-performance and scalable AI workloads.

A key component of the collaboration is the establishment of an Applied AI Centre of Excellence, which will serve as a joint engineering hub to design, test and deploy AI use cases. The centre will focus on real-world applications such as customer service chatbots, network operation copilots and AI-assisted analytics tools, helping enterprises move from experimentation to large-scale deployment.

The initiative also introduces shared AI computing and AI-as-a-service offerings, integrating Mistral’s foundation models and developer tools with Singtel’s GPU infrastructure. This is aimed at providing organisations with secure, compliant environments to adopt AI while meeting data governance and sovereignty requirements.
