SingTel Mobile has partnered with Ericsson for the trial of latter’s advanced Radio Dot System to improve in-building mobile broadband coverage and end user’s experience. A live trial in this regard was conducted at Changi Business Park. If successful, the pair aims to extend SingTel’s 3G/W-CDMA and 4G LTE network coverage into enterprise buildings and public spaces. Ericsson’s Radio Dot System is designed to deliver high-performance coverage and capacity in any size or type of building, and to integrate seamlessly with SingTel’s LTE and 3G networks.
