The Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore has awarded two contracts, totalling SDG522.4 million, to Samwoh Corporation for enhancing road networks in the Changi Northern and Southern Corridors. The work will begin in Q4 2024.
The first contract involves upgrading roads like Loyang Avenue, Telok Paku Road, Nicoll Drive, and Changi Coast Road in the Northern Corridor. This includes expanding the dual two-lane road from Loyang Avenue to Aviation Park Road into a dual four-lane road, with completion expected by 2030 to accommodate development in Changi’s industrial and business areas. Additionally, the Loyang Viaduct is set to be finished by 2028.
