The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has called for tenders to realign and widen the Merpati Road in Singapore. Once work is completed in 2026, it will support residential developments in MacPherson.
Currently, the road is a one-way, two-lane road connecting Aljunied Road to Mattar Road and Circuit Road. On completion, it will be upgraded to a dual two-lane road.
In line with this, bus stops and taxi stands at Entrance A of Mattar MRT station will also be moved and replaced.
