Singapore Airlines increase its stake in Virgin Australia to 19.9 per cent

Singapore Airlines has raised its stake in Virgin Australia to 19.9 per cent by paying about S$185 million. It had previously held a 10 per cent stake. Other major stakeholders of Virgin Australia are Air New Zealand (about 19 per cent), the Virgin Group (around 13 per cent), and Etihad Airlines (8 per cent).
