Singapore Airlines (SIA) was named the world’s second best airlines by Skytrax. SIA also bagged other awards, namely, Best Business Class Airline and Best First Class Seats.
Garuda Airlines won the World’s Best Cabin Crew award from Skytrax. This is the second consecutive year that Garuda Indonesia has bagged this title. Earlier, in 2014, Garuda Airlines won the title of “5-Star Airline” and was recognised for the World’s Best Economy Class in 2013 by Skytrax. Currently, Garuda Indonesia ranks seventh in the list of the world’s best airlines.
Meanwhile, AirAsia was voted the World’s Best Low-cost Airline for the seventh year in a row at the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards.
The awards were announced based on a global customer satisfaction survey conducted by Skytrax across more than 18 million passengers. The survey, held every year, covers 245 international airlines and measures standards across 41 key performance indicators of airline products and services.
