Germany’s Siemens Energy Service has won the multi-year service and maintenance contract for the Phu My 3 power plant. The deal is an extension of the earlier contract: it involves the maintenance of the plant’s major equipment for an additional eight years or 100,000 operating hours, whichever comes first. The combined cycle power plant (740 MW), situated in the southern coastal province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, was developed on a BOT basis.
