Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA (Siemens Gamesa) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BCG Energy, a renewable energy (RE) developer, for the supply of wind farm equipment and technical solutions for wind projects in Vietnam. Under the terms of the agreement, Siemens Gamesa will supply wind farm equipment worth approximately USD 400 million to support BCG Energy’s plans for wind development in Vietnam.
The MoU was signed at the United Nations (UN) Climate Change Summit COP26 in Glasgow and is a part of BCG Energy’s target to develop more than 500 MW of wind power in Vietnam in the next few years.
