A consortium comprising Sembawang Engineers and Constructors (based in Singapore), the Punj Lloyd Group (India), and Leader Civil Engineering Corporation (Hong Kong) has secured a contract to construct the Diamond Hill station of the Mass Transit Railway Corporation’s Shatin–Central link in Hong Kong. The project, worth over S$317.64 million, involves the relocation of heritage structures and archaeological diggings, the construction of underground stations, and the connection of adits to the existing station. This endeavour will also entail coordinating with interfacing railway operating systems and specialist contractors.
