The state of Selangor has been allocated RM1.756 billion under the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) to support infrastructure development projects for the year 2022. The funding will be divided between continuing projects and new initiatives, with RM1.684 billion allocated towards ongoing projects and the remaining RM72 million funding the development of new infrastructure projects. Ongoing projects in the state include road upgrades and the development of new roads in Serendah.

Works on the 10 ongoing projects in Selangor are expected to be completed by the end of 2022. These projects includes the construction and renovation of the RM887 million Pulau Indah Ring Road- Phase 3 project, construction works on a new road in the UMW High Value Manufacturing Park (UMW HVMP) valued at RM121 million and the RM222 million Sungai Air Tawar bridge project in Sabak Bernam linking Sabak Bernam to Perak.
