Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC), manager of the Sentosa Island located off Singapore’s southern coast, is rolling out sustainability measures to achieve net zero emissions from the island by 2030.
The measures, outlined at a virtual press briefing, mentioned the commencement of electric bus trials in partnership with ComfortDelGro Bus from October 2021, with the main aim of electrifying all its on-island public transport by 2025. All SDC-owned carparks will also feature infrastructure to enable charging of electric vehicles by 2030.
