Sarawak Energy Bhd received 16 awards at the 40th Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health Awards ceremony on December 21, 2022 in Kuala Lumpur.As an energy development company, it has proven outstanding performance in OSH. The power generation arm of the company, Murum Hydro Power Generation was recognised with one of the Gold Merit Awards, the MSOSH Award’s highest accolade. The award gives recognition to member organisations and companies that achieve commendable OSH performance with remarkable improvement in their OSH processes through sound safety and health management systems. The company’s power station provides up to 944 W of renewable energy to meet the company’s needs.
