Spain-based Salicru has expanded its presence in Indonesia by installing uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems across the national railway network operated by PT Kereta Api Indonesia. The deployment is aimed at improving operational reliability and ensuring uninterrupted power for critical railway functions.

The project, implemented in partnership with PT BINA SERVICES, includes both new installations and upgrades of legacy systems across key railway hubs on the islands of Java and Sumatra. High-traffic divisions in Jakarta, Bandung, Cirebon and Central Java have been equipped with advanced UPS solutions to support signalling, telecommunications and control systems.

In Sumatra, installations across major divisions include a combination of new systems and modernisation works to enhance resilience in freight and regional rail operations. These upgrades are designed to ensure stable power supply in demanding operating environments.

Salicru has also supplied UPS systems for light rail transit (LRT) networks in Jakarta and Palembang, supporting energy stability in high-density urban transport systems. In addition, its solutions have been deployed in aviation infrastructure and data centres in Indonesia, reflecting broader applications in critical infrastructure sectors.
