The inauguration ceremony of the runway upgradation projects at two of the busiest airports in Vietnam, Tan Son Nhat and the Noi Bai International Airport, was held on January 10, 2021. At Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport, runway No. 25R/07L was upgraded and new runways and facilities were built at a cost of VND 2,015 billion. At Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, about VND 2,031 billion was invested to upgrade runway Nos. 11R/29L (1B) and 11L/29R (1A) and build 20 taxiways and facilities to serve 50 million passengers annually.
