Royal Brunei Airlines won the Travel Media Innovative Campaign and Content of the Year Award at the Travel Media Awards.

The award was given for a collaborative social media campaign to promote Royal Brunei Airlines and Brunei as the gateway to the island of Borneo. The campaign ran for six months between November 2014 and April 2015 and, in that time, was viewed more than 52 million times across all social media channels. Royal Brunei Airlines worked closely with UK-based PR agency Good Relations and local tourism interests to make the promotion a success.
