For its Myanmar business, Qatari firm Ooredoo has appointed Rene Meza. Meza will replace Ross Cormack, the current CEO of Ooredoo Myanmar. Over the past two years, Cormack has led the Myanmar business from a greenfield operation to a fully fledged telecom provider.
Meza will join Ooredoo Myanmar later in 2015 and there will be a handover period to ensure a smooth transition in leadership. In the past 17 years, Meza has held leadership positions in telecom businesses in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
