PT PLN (Persero) has been selling 275,000 Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to PT Agincourt Resources, equivalent to 275 MWh of renewable energy (RE) in Indonesia. This deal aligns with PLN’s commitment to supporting Indonesia’s clean energy transition and advancing environmentally friendly industries.
The REC certificates serve as proof that the electricity used by PT Agincourt Resources comes from renewable sources, helping the company align with Astra Group’s goals for net-zero emissions (NZE) by 2060 and decarbonisation by 2030.
