Rapid Bus Sendirian Berhad, a subsidiary of government-owned public transport company Prasarana Malaysia Berhad ,  will operate all the six Go KL city bus routes. The Kuala Lumpur City Hall has awarded a one-year contract to Rapid Bus, effective from July 1, 2019. The bus service was earlier also provided by Konsortium Transnasional, apart from Rapid Bus. Go KL City Bus is a free bus service in the city of Kuala Lumpur. The service has been in operation since August 2012. Since then, the number of routes has been increased from two to six – Green Line (Suria KLCC-Bukit Bintang), Purple Line (Central Market Hub-Bukit Bintang, Blue Line (Titiwangsa Hub-Bukit Bintang), Red Line (Titiwangsa Bus Terminal-KL Sentral), Orange Line (Titiwangsa Hub-Defence Ministry) and Pink Line (Universiti LRT station-PPR Seri Pantai).
