The Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) has appointed Raja bin Azmi Raja Nazuddin as its chief operating officer (COO), effective September 15, 2020. Raja Azmi has extensive experience in the aviation industry and the corporate sector. He has replaced Azmir Zain, who resigned from the post on August 14, 2020. Raja Azmi served as Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd’s (MAHB) group CEO from January 2019 to January 2020. Prior to this, he was MAHB’s group chief financial officer (CFO). He has also served in senior management positions at multiple listed and unlisted entities.
