Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a subsidiary of MMC Corporation Berhad, was recognised as the winner of Malaysia’s 2014 Best Port Award. The award acknowledges PTP’s continuous improvement in productivity in container operations and better optimisation of resources in achieving operational excellence.
PTP has won numerous accolades and recognitions since 2000 such as the first Malaysian port to be awarded the Integrated Management System, which integrated ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800; 2012 Asia-Pacific Green Terminal Operator of the Year Award by Frost & Sullivan; APMT Review Excellence Award; and the Technology Business Review ASEAN Award for Excellence in Logistics.
