Pertamina EP, the subsidiary of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina, has discovered a new oil and gas reserve in the Sungai Jaing area of the Tabalong regency in South Kalimantan. The company is in the process of seeking a local permit from the Tabalong district administration to commence drilling operations at the site. Pertamina EP has already explored three new wells in the subdistricts of Tanta and Murung Pudak as part of its plan to have seven additional wells in 2013.
