Prime Infrastructure Holdings (Prime Infra) has announced an investment of approximately  PHP3.5 billion to finance the development of solar projects in the Philippines cities of Concepcion, Tarlac, Tanauan, Batangas and Maragondon, Cavite. Solar projects with a combined capacity of 340 MW will be developed under the investments over the next few years.

Prime Infra expects these renewable energy (RE) projects to generate over 2,000 jobs during the construction phase and over 100 jobs once operation commences. Once completed, the solar projects are also expected to deliver solar energy to around 200,000 homes in the Philippines.
