Prasarana will introduce 12 new four-car train sets to augment capacity of monorail

Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad will introduce 12 four-car train sets as part of the RapidKL monorail expansion project that is due for completion by the third quarter of 2014. These train sets are expected to be delivered periodically from early next year. Currently, 12 two-car train sets, with a daily ridership of more than 70,000 passengers, are operating on the monorail line. The expansion project will double the current capacity of the monorail line.
