Prasarana Malaysia Bhd has announced the appointment of Tan Sri Jamaluddin Ibrahim as its new group chairman and he will be replacing Pasir Salak MP Tajudin Abdul Rahman. The company has also appointed Mohd Azharuddin Mat Sah as the new CEO, replacing Muhammad Nizam Alias. Both appointments will be effective starting July 15, 2021.
Jamaludin led Axiata Group Bhd for 12 years as group CEO, while Azharuddin served the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) from 2015 to 2018. Both individuals have extensive knowledge heading operations and administration, as well as development of public-sector policies and projects.
