The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center of the Philippines has announced five new infrastructure projects worth PHP22.91 billion in the country. This increases the total number of infrastructure projects announced in 2021 to 63 projects valued at nearly PHP7.243 trillion.

The new projects announced includes the development of the Metro Cebu Expressway, Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) Clark Tourism Enterprise Zone (TEZ), San Pablo City Water District Septage Management, General Santos Sanitary Landfill among others.

The PPP Center has also partner with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Urban Climate Change Resilience Trust Fund (UCCRTF) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to develop projects that will boost the resilience of local physical infrastructure.
