The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) has approved the International Container Terminal Services Incorporation (ICTSI) to commence the development and rehabilitation of the Iloilo Commercial Port Complex, now renamed Visayas Container Terminal (VCT) in the Philippines. The project has a 25-year concession period and the cost of the project is over PHP10.5 billion.

ICTSI aims to enhance terminal productivity and service quality, focusing on infrastructure development and cargo-handling equipment deployment. The port currently handles 100,000 TEUs and 2 million metric tons of non-containerized cargo annually.
