PLN plans to build a 400 MW steam and gas power plant in Madura at an estimated cost of Rp 5 trillion. The construction is expected to start in 2019. The project will be undertaken by PLN’s East Java and Bali development unit (UIP JBTB). At present, UIP JBTB is engaged in the process of obtaining a location permit for the plant.
