PT PLN (Persero) has developed two solar power plants (PLTS) with battery storage of 30 KWp capacity in Samanente Village and 20 KWp capacity in Konderjan Village in Sarmi Regency, Papua, Indonesia. The project was funded by State Capital Participation (PMN) to brighten up Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost (3T) areas in the country.

The installation will provide electricity to the places of worship and hospitals to operate 24/7 without relying on generators.

Moreover, PLN is developing a Low Voltage Network (JTR) to enhance infrastructure in Indonesia for improved education, economy, and industry.
