PLDT Global Corporation, the international arm of leading Philippine telecommunications and digital services provider PLDT, Inc., won two awards at the Pacific Telecommunications Council [PTC] Awards 2020. The company received awards for its Free Bee solution under the Outstanding Applications Company and Outstanding Customer-Facing Innovation categories. Launched in 2017, Free Bee is an advertising-based voice service delivering free international calls to the Philippines. Free Bee has also partnered with other companies and organisations all over the world to provide services such as online bill payments, application for insurance and loan products, etc.
