The volume of cargo transited at the Phnom Penh Autonomous Port increased by 34 per cent in the first quarter of 2013 compared to the corresponding period of 2012. From January to March 2013, the state-owned port received 24,677 twentyfoot equivalent units (TEUs), up from the 18,450 TEUs handled in the previous year. The port authority is currently preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) to be listed on the Cambodian Stock Exchange.
