Phnom Penh port cargo handling volumes grow 22 per cent

The cargo throughput of Cambodia’s state-owned Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (PPAP) rose by 22 per cent year on year to 85,100 containers in the first nine months of 2013. PPAP’s terminal in Cambodia’s Kandal province, which opened in January 2013, supports the country’s cargo traffic growth. PPAP has invested over $28 million in the development of the terminal.
