The Government of the Philippines has committed to boosting the country’s digital infrastructure to keep pace with global advancements in technology. The digital systems will be leveraged to speed up public services, improve efficiency, and enhance transparency across government processes.

The administration noted that the value of the Philippine digital economy reached PHP2.25 trillion in 2024, accounting for 8.5 percent of GDP and supporting over 11 million jobs. Efforts are underway to expand this contribution through greater investment in connectivity, innovation, and cybersecurity safeguards.
