LandBank of the Philippines recently received two international awards from the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP) for its projects in rural electrification and financial inclusion. The BRIGHTNESS Lending Program, which aims to enhance energy access and economic activities in barangays, won in the Infrastructure Development category. The program has approved loans totalling PHP13.7 billion, benefiting over 4.8 million households.
Additionally, LandBank’s support for ASA Philippines Foundation Incorporation credit expansion for underserved women earned a Merit Award in the Financial Inclusion category, helping raise PHP5 billion for accessible financing.
