The government is likely to invest around PhP 9 billion in the Digital Empowerment Fund between 2013 and 2016 and another PhP 1 billion per year on e-governance services. Priorities include the introduction of a single authoritative registry for citizens and governance agencies, a national payroll system, and a government integrated financial management system.
