The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) of the Philippines have completed four key infrastructure projects in 2021 under the government’s Build Build Build program.
These projects include the BGC-Ortigas Centre Link Road project, Estrella Pantaleon Bridge, the 18.97 km Marawi Transcentral Road Phase 1 and the 18 km Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 from Buendia, Makati to Balintawak, Quezon City. The Marawi Road project was funded under a grant by the Government of Japan while the Manila skyway project was financed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Program.
The Department of Transportation (DoT) also completed four flagship transit infrastructure projects in 2021 including the Light Rail Transit-2 (LRT-2) East Extension, General Santos Airport Development Project and Bicol International Airport.
