The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has launched the Metro Davao Bike Lane Project in Tagum City, Davao del Norte in the Philippines. This initiative is part of the PHP5 billion Active Transport Program under the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028. With total funding of around PHP290 million, the project establishes 47.79 km of bike lanes along selected roads in Tagum and Davao cities.

It also includes the maintenance and upgrading of 60.24 km of existing bike lanes, including those along Daang Maharlika Highway in Tagum. Additionally, the project features the construction of end-of-trip cycling facilities, with 30 bike tracks installed across four locations in Metro Davao. The government also announced plans to expand bike lanes nationwide to a total of 2,400 km by 2028.
